The Independent Newspaper is the Student’s choice

For almost 20 years, The Independent has been the official media partner for UCAS. At key points throughout the year, magazines, listings and other publications are printed, all of which can be used as extremely effective marketing platforms.

The Independent has direct access to over 1 million students every year.

Clearing – The Independent Newspaper has exclusive rights to publish the official UCAS course vacancy listings from A-Level results day in August through to September. There are extensive opportunities to sponsor or advertise within these listings. Traditionally, there is an uplift of approx 70,000 on the daily newspaper circulation creating an incredibly targeted and unique audience

You Can magazine is published three times a year (September, November and May). This title reaches approx 100,000, 16-18 year olds who are choosing a University course, via direct mail. An e-zine version of the magazine is also distributed to 30,000 schools.

Which Way magazine is sent to every UCAS applicant before they receive their A-Level results. It is the essential guide to higher education. By reaching an audience of over half a million young people at this crucial time, it is the biggest student magazine of its kind in the UK.

Student Survival Guide is published in September, and is mailed to students who have successfully secured a place at University. The magazine reaches an audience of approx 300,000 students. It is packed with tips on living the student life, from how to pass your degree to managing your finances.
